Silvio Fanti (born September 22, 1919 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland and died on June 26, 1997 in Paris) is a psychiatrist and micropsychanalyste, of Italian nationality. He is the founder of the micropsychanalyse.
Biography
Fanti passes his latin-Greek BA in French language, to the collège St Michel in Fribourg, then mature latin-science in the German language, to the monastery of Einsiedeln. He obtained his medical degree at the University of Zurich, defended a thesis in Psychiatry at the University of Vienna (Austria): the reactions in the shock and a thesis in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Geneva: the delivery run.
It follows a Freudian psychoanalysis in Dantzer [REF. necessary], in New York, where he spent several years after the war and began a time to psychoanalysis in Geneva.
End 1950s, Fanti seeks to potentiate the associative Dynamics using deep changes of the Freudian framework (in particular it lengthens the duration of sessions that can last for several hours with a minimum of five weekly sessions, promotes personal relationships out of sessions, etc)) and gradually develops what he underlying the micropsychanalyse.
That could lead the micropsychanalyses in French, Italian, German and English, it is professionally called on five continents. It is during her long stays including America, India, Australia, Japan, China, and into the remotest corners, he observes the men in their daily lives trying to understand what is the connection between across cultures, prejudice, intellectual knowledge and acquired reflexes. In the early ten thousand nine hundred and sixty, he settled permanently in Couvet (Switzerland), where he created the international society of micropsychanalyse, in 1973 with his associates.
He is made Commander of the order of merit of the Italian Republic.
