File Formats
The files are formatted in the National Library of Medicine's Medline format and as files for use with Research Information System's Reference Manager , version 10 software. With our migration to Reference Manager 10, we are currently not providing Niles & Associates' EndNote Plus format.
However, if there is enough demand for EndNote, we can make it available. Please contact Jonathan Kamien to discuss EndNote format.
Macintosh files are in StuffIt X Archive (.sitx) archives using Allume Systems' Stuffit Deluxe. You will need something like Allume System's freeware "StuffIt Expander" to decode these '.hqx' files.
PC files are available as PKWARE's PKZIP self-extracting archives. You should not need any additional software to decompress these files. Place this file in an otherwise empty subdirectory and execute the file to extract the contents.
A straight ASCII text file in Medline format is also available for those without access to a Macintosh or a PC. This file is uncompressed and 2,580K.
